Good food good service, great small dinner down home feel
My husband and I go here every Saturday morning for breakfast. If you love a great "greasy spoon", this is it. The food is consistently good and service is friendly. Owner is accessible and comes out to greet us when he's there. Don't miss this spot.
This was a great place to eat with Friendly service and a diner type style feel. The fish and chips were delicious!
Food was good, server was friendly, I found neither to be overwhelmingly so. Would likely return. They have a "please wait to be seated sign displayed" but it's seat yourself. They have menu items listed (not as seasonal or ask your server) that today they said they just decided not to make. (Today was Mac and cheese.) Little things, but nothing to make me say it was a poor experience.
Great food and friendly service
Been coming here for years whenever working at the Cape. The specials are always good and fast. Its nice to be able to get cleaned up, sit down to a hot lunch and get everyone back to work in 45 minutes.
Great for breakfast! Good food and reasonable pricing.
Always a pleasure to eat here, the servers are so sweet and kind to each costomer, making you feel at home. The vibe is homely with a dash of warmth and charm. The food is excellent and overall the place is amazing.
Cute decor. Super fast service. Yummy food. I got the croissant with home fries. My husband got the eggs Benedict and said it's some of the best sauce he's ever had.
This would have a higher review but they recently had a ton of health code violations, but the only reason as to this getting 2 stars instead of 1 is for two reasons. It's better than water's edge cafe, (read my review about why that is) and that their cook is AMAZING. Sorry for the bad review but people need to know about that.
Food is made to order and the staff is friendly and attentive. Beware though on Sundays expect long seatomg waits and food service as they are so deliciously busy amd everyone in town comes to eat before and after church services. Amazing little down home cookery for locals and tourists alike!
Food is good. Service is always 5 star
The food is excellent service is fantastic nice friendly place to gather
Is our first time there it was recommended by .y husband's friend. It's nice food was good we'll be there again
Biscuits and gravy I, personally, wasn't a fan. The wait staff was very attentive and sweet, for us. A++ to them! Prices were good. Just a small town cafe. Nothing to hate but, nothing to rave about. Glad I checked it out, though.
Excellent bacon, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast. Fast, friendly service. We are camping in nearby Jetty Park Campground
Food: Generally good food, the breakfast steak tends to be small and gristly. The pancakes here are true pan cakes, cooked in a pan crispy on both sides! Coffee is typical diner coffee.Service: Most servers are pleasant, one in particular is usually pretty crabby. Owner is a great guy, kitchen staff is talented.Atmosphere: General marine theme, but it looks dated. Any time someone wants to do breakfast I recommend Portside!
Polite, neat, helpful, tasty...
Great breakfast spot in Port Canaveral. Good food friendly staff
good food great prices fun atmosphere
Enjoyed our breakfast. Great staff
Great place; good meal fair price, local place. Nice little diner, been looking for a place like this!
Nice little restaurant. A few of us went for breakfast the food was fresh and delicious. It's kind of hard to spot because it doesn't look like a place where a restaurant would be. The food was really good for the price it was really inexpensive. If you're in the area I recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch. I don't think they are open for dinner.
I love this restaurant. Great food all around. Environment feels like you're at home. The staff is nice.
Good breakfast/lunch out-of-the-way place. Wish we had discovered it at the beginning of our 3 month stay instead if at the end!
The server was nice but it took almost 30 minutes for a tuna melt and fries. It was the smallest, stalest, rye bread and 20 fries. It took so long, I had to get it to go. I should have had plenty of time to enjoy a nice hot grilled sandwich. All the food that came out first looked good, I was totally disappointed, but my dog was happy.
Your fish & chips was extremely delicious. We had family visiting from London & had to find the perfect fish & chips for them . Bingo Portside in Cocoa Beach is the best. I will always return & recommend to my friends & family. I am very picky with my eating out, & you surely made my lunch a memorable one.
I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, this was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had and the best gravy I've ever had too!
Excellent home made😍Great service✨
This is a great place for breakfast. It is located in an area that isn't usually thought of as having a restaurant. It is know however by the locals! It has been there forever and has a very relaxed atmosphere. It is NOT your Denny's or iHop. It is much better. The decor reflects the local area with mounted fish on the wall. Also the service is good. Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about but I have never had a problem. And we go at least once a month. They have the best pancakes and breakfast sandwich around. Also for lunch if you are lucky enough to be there when meatloaf offered.......get it. The best I have ever had. The other plus is I have never had to wait for a seat. It is average as far as cleanliness but I think that is more of the older decor. Which in my opinion adds to the charm. You don't find places like this much anymore!'
Our waitstress was terrible. No coffee, water, or tea refills. Ordered breakfast sandwich no meat/non toasted. Came with extra bacon and bread was dried out. I will never return or recommend this place.
Great service, great food, awesome prices! Family of four ate for $30 and I had the best omelette I have ever eaten (and I have tried many omelettes at many diners.)
Staff was very prompt. Food just appeared to be taking a long time for the entire restaurant. I sat at the counter. Portions are huge. Breakfast should not take an hour for a party of one who knows what he wants when he walks in the door. I do not recommend the eggs Benedict. The eggs were not poached.
Food is always great. Staff is very pleasant.
Great breakfast great prices the home fries taste like I’m use to up north . A touch of home taste
My go-to breakfast spot in CC for the last 20 years. Good diner food and great prices.
Great food and service at reasonable prices.
Nice and quiet.Good food for the money and friendly ppl ✌️
This restaurant is amazing! My family of 6 were seated immediately and the food we ordered came out to our table quickly. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with french fries and was beyond pleased with the quality and quantity of the meal.
It's a standard diner. Cheap and filling food, coffee refills, old-looking decor. <$20 for breakfast for two.
Good food and nice atmosphere
Great breakfast and lunch. Owner and staff are very friendly. Great food
Come here for breakfast regularly. Everything is great - they will bend over backwards to make sure that you got exactly what you wanted.
Food good friendly employee's.
Awesome place to eat....9.99 for steak and eggs, potatoes, toast and coffee can't beat it....every is friendly. ..felt and tasted like home....good view of some huge cruise ships
Very good! The interior looks a little dated but It is clean. There are some visually pleasing fish mounted on the walls. The food and service are excellent.
We love Portside Galley! We will try others when we feel like gambling..lol We always come back to our go to place for breakfast! You get your monies worth and always done right!💖
We had just finished our cruise and wanted to find a local place close to the port for breakfast, so we found this place. It had really good home style food with healthy portions. The made from scratch biscuits were awesome! My only negative was that the coffee wasn't great (typical diner coffee), but I'm a coffee snob anyway.
Always have a great meal when I go here. Just a little place out at Port Canaveral but great food and friendly staff.
Traditional breakfast cooked just right, excellent cheddar grits and good prices, I will try the Benedict next time
